Dr. Santarvis Brown joined the Center for Foreign Affairs & Defense Policy (CFADP) Board of Directors as Chairman in 2025, bringing with him a distinguished career defined by scholarship, service, and leadership.

A Distinguished Professor and changemaker, Dr. Brown has over two decades of impactful experience in education, seamlessly integrating faith, service, leadership, and scholarship. As Chair of Graduate Business Programs at Excelsior University, he has enriched premier institutions, including the University of Virginia, Florida International University, and Cornell University.

A sought-after speaker and researcher, Dr. Brown has delivered keynote addresses around the world and authored numerous articles, culminating in his influential book, "Leading While Limping." He also contributes his expertise as a member of the Harvard Business Review Advisory Board.

Beyond academia, Dr. Brown has dedicated more than 12 years to pastoral leadership in the AME Church and currently serves as Senior Pastor of Greater Mt. Pleasant AME Church in Hollywood, Florida. His contributions have earned international recognition, including being named a Top 100 Global Leader in Education, receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joe Biden, and being honoured as both an Innovator and a Change Maker.

Dr. Brown holds doctorates in Educational Administration, Business Administration, and Law, underscoring his commitment to intellectual and professional excellence. Equally devoted to service, he serves on numerous boards, chairs the Minority Freedom Community Fund Board of Trustees, and holds lifelong memberships in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., King James #15 Masonic Lodge, and 100 Black Men of America.
