Dennis Lauver

Dennis Lauver joined the Center for Foreign Affairs & Defense Policy (CFADP) in 2021 as a member of its Board of Directors. He currently serves on the Executive Committee and is the Chairman of the Development Committee, where he provides strategic leadership in advancing CFADP’s institutional growth and external partnerships.

Mr. Lauver is Co-Owner and Broker of a leading real estate firm in eastern Iowa, overseeing a team of 21 licensed agents. With over 25 years of experience in Chamber of Commerce management and economic development, he has held senior leadership roles across Iowa, Nebraska, and Kansas, helping guide non-profit organizations, strengthen local economies, and foster public-private collaboration.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and an MBA from Wayne State College. Throughout his career, Mr. Lauver has built a strong record of engagement with policymakers at the local, state, and federal levels, contributing to legislative initiatives that promote economic growth and community development.

Notably, he maintains a longstanding professional relationship with U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley. He has established close working ties with several members of the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate, underscoring his deep experience in political and governmental affairs.
